Overview
Welcome to our residence community! We prioritize a safe and respectful environment for all residents. Please adhere to the following rules: maintain noise levels, respect shared spaces, and ensure cleanliness.

All residents must abide by both the University Student Code of Conduct and Standards, Resident Handbook, and are expected to exhibit respectful behavior towards one another. Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. We encourage open communication to resolve conflicts amicably.
Your safety is our utmost priority. Always lock your doors, report any suspicious activity, and familiarize yourself with emergency procedures. Regular safety drills will be conducted to ensure preparedness.

Guests 18 years of age or older are welcome to visit resident. Residents are responsible for their guests' behavior and must ensure they comply with all residence and University policies and procedures. Guests must be escorted at all times by the resident they are visiting.
Guests are permitted to stay overnight for up to two (2) consecutive nights no more than four (4) times during the housing contract term. Residents cannot have more than 1 over-night guest in a single night.

Residential life encompasses the community experience within our housing facilities. It includes social events, support services, and opportunities for personal growth. Our aim is to create a welcoming environment for all students.
Individuals whom have been admitted to Texas A&M International University may submit a housing application at the following link: Apply for a Room
Applicants will log-in to the application site utilizing their TAMIU credentials (User ID & Password).
Upon log-in, applicants will verify their information, select their housing preferences, and submit their housing application.
After application submission, the applicant will receive their Housing Contract for electronic signature via e-mail. On-campus housing spaces are only reserved upon signing a Housing Contract.
On-campus housing spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are based upon date of Housing Contract signing, not application completed date.

Residents may submit a work order by contacting their housing community office within regular business hours, or they may also submit a work-order electronically within their StarRez resident portal. For AFTER HOUR MAINTENANCE EMERGENCIES, residents should contact the Resident Assistant On-Call at the following phone number:
